I am very excited to announce my debut Strum & Spirits events, which will take place in three Bay Area cities in the month of June 2017.
Strum & Spirits is like a “paint-and-sip” class, except that the “art” is making music! The content is tailored for absolute beginners, but players will enjoy it as well. I provide the guitars (or you can bring your own), and show everyone the fundamentals of the guitar. I also “pair” the song to be learned with an adult beverage. By the end of the show, you’ll actually be jamming along with me as we play a rock ‘n roll classic and probably feeling pretty good. At each event, we learn a different song together and enjoy a new adult beverage. Of course, you don’t have to drink to enjoy the class, though you might think you sound better if you do. 😉 At the end of the class, you can relax as I perform several rock ‘n roll classics on the acoustic guitar. It’s a full night of fun for everyone!
My first event is at The Grand Theatre in Tracy, CA on Thursday, June 15th at 7:00 PM. Join us early for a warm greeting, cocktail hour, getting your guitar ready and finding your favorite seat. Tickets for this event are available on the Grand Theatre online box office here. You must be 21 or over to attend this event.
Following quickly on the debut, Strum & Spirits will host a very special Father’s Day event at Hannah Nicole Vineyards in Brentwood, CA. At this event, you can actually buy a very nice beginner’s guitar for dad as part of your ticket. Tickets for this event are available on the Hannah Nicole EventBrite link here. Ages 8 and up are welcome at this unique event! Obviously, the kids won’t be drinking, but dad can relax and enjoy on his special day. Get dad something cool and unique for Father’s Day!
Finally rounding out the month is the Strum & Spirits debut in Pleasanton at the very beautiful Firehouse Arts Center on Thursday, June 29th. At this event, the class will actually be able to sit on the incredible Firehouse stage with me as we jam together! Tickets for this event are available on the Firehouse Arts Center website here.
